Design and Health

Design influences you, your biology and mind, your inner design influences your perception and how you come out in life. To an extent, we are determined by our genes, however we are also creatures of learning and growing. Our minds are neuroplastic and there is a whole landscape for redesign.

30% to over 50% of our brain is dedicated to vision. We decode images 60.000 times faster than text. What we see has immense impact on how we perceive and feel.

Exposure to different visual stimuli trigger variety of chemical cascades in our body. What happens inside the body when we look at something? And how can design intentionally support mental health and well-being?

What we see changes how we feel — chemically and neurologically.

Talks, Presentations and Lectures

My talks are structured around design biology, neurodesign, the impact of aesthetics on our brain. Design biology informs organizations ranging from businesses and team-leaders to healthcare facilities.

Presentations are usually client-specific, custom-made content that helps teams and businesses with team or project-specific problem.

Last but not least - lectures are designed to inform industry professionals about the latest findings in the area of communication design and health.

I can provide a list of topics upon request.
